Bloomington Township Reflects on a Year of Service and Community Impact

Bloomington Township is proud to share a look back at the meaningful impact made in 2025—made possible by the continued support and trust of our community.

Over the past year, the Township provided essential services to hundreds of local residents in need. A total of 193 families received emergency financial assistance, helping them navigate unexpected hardships. Additionally, 740 families were supported through the Township’s food pantry, ensuring access to reliable and nutritious food. During times of loss, the Township also assisted with 15 burials, offering support and dignity to families facing difficult circumstances.

Beyond direct assistance, Bloomington Township remained dedicated to preserving the area’s history by maintaining and caring for its historic cemeteries, including Stout-Houston and Griffith.

Through strong partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, the Township expanded its reach even further—helping provide emergency shelter, meals, free legal services, household goods, and other critical resources. These collaborations ensure that residents have access to comprehensive support when they need it most.

Each of these numbers represents a neighbor, a family, or an individual who needed a helping hand. Bloomington Township is honored to serve and remains committed to ensuring no one in the community is left behind.
